About Russ

 

I fell in love with the Hilton Head and Bluffton area when I moved here from Charleston in the early 70's.

I continue to focus on the kind of personalized customer service that helped make our real estate company a success. I certainly embrace and use technology and its tools to help communicate with all of my buyer clients and to help market my seller's listings, but I strongly believe in old-fashioned activities like answering my phone, returning calls, listening carefully, and being responsive to my client's wants, needs, questions, and concerns.

The Hilton Head Island and Bluffton areas are is blessed with an enormous amount of islands, creeks rivers, beaches and private communities. So getting to know all of the areas and where to look for property is often a challenge for real estate buyers. I know the oceanfront areas and the private communities on and off the island. I believe that attention to detail is very important in all real estate transactions.

I am a trustworthy, detail oriented and patient buyer's agent. One that you can count on for no high pressure and reliable real estate advice and counsel.

  • Experienced in remodeling design and construction for rehabs or extensive remodel projects.
  • Advised many past real estate clients on construction defects and solutions when reviewing a property or its home inspection.

Hobbies

Give me an excuse to get out in the river or ocean and I am out the door. Fishing, exploring a new creek, river, or waterfront property, and checking the water depth for my listings for clients are my favorite things to do. I am an amateur photographer and enjoy photographing the outdoors along the creeks, rivers and beaches. We have some of the most abundant marshes, islands and waterways along the East Coast. I make it a point to enjoy them.
